Former Band of lead singer Clemens van de Ven. This rough-throated singer from Nijmegen (the Netherlands) is relatively well-know in his hometown. They perform old-fashioned rock and roll music. Clemens never learned to read sheet music and was an autodidact in his piano play. In the early eighties he was in the news, because he performed his music for sheep, which were, in his opinion, the most sympathetic audience.
