Gaar, the former bandleader-bassist, and vocalist for Percy Sledge and Zydeco Legend Rocking Sidney has 450 songs in his catalog. He has written in excess of 2000 songs during his musical career. The power and honesty of his unmistakable voice, combined with the meaningful lyric content of his songs, powerful grooves, and clever arrangements, authenticates Gaar's unique brand of Louisiana blues.

Patrick Henry began performing at the age of seven when he sang his favorite hymn "One More River to Cross" in a little church in the town of Sunset, Louisiana. From these early beginnings Mr. Henry remained in the town of Sunset where he joined the Liberation Band in 1978 which was the start of his professional career. Patrick Henry & The Liberation Band is credited to three albums for Lanor Records and had released albums sporadically under his own name leading up to the 2007 release "Contagious".
