Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Franki Joseph has performed for both large and small venues in cities including Manhattan, Chicago, Philadelphia, St. Louis and Los Angeles. Franki Joseph is known for his lively and vibrant performances as a vocalist/pianist with a strong and passionate voice who enjoys connecting with his audience. He has the ability to "Rock it out" with a band or simply croon as a soloist and he give's it "his all" every time. Franki Joseph has provided quality and stylish entertainment time and time again and has the ability to please any audience. Whether performing Jazz, Blues, R&B, or Rock n'Roll, or Country, Franki Joseph Tachias is always on top of his game. Franki started playing at the tender age of 5 years old. When his grandmother Benita would babysit him, she would play church hymns on her organ. Afterward, Franki would "show off" and play them back to her "by ear." His parents bought him an old upright piano and started him with lessons from Wendy....the most gorgeous young, tanned, blond woman he'd ever seen. Yes, his first lessons were from "Barbie" herself. He learned quickly, impressing her with every lesson and quickly becoming one of her best students. Years later, Franki got bored with classical and church music and discovered Jerry Lee Lewis , Elvis, Elton John, etc....and decided that "laughing with the sinners was more fun than crying with the saints." He's been a sinner ever since, playing in bars and private functions in many cities across the US as a soloist with bands like The Blues Kings, and as a Dueling pianist at The Big Bang Bar in St Luis and Howl at the Moon in Hollywood. Now residing in Hollywood, CA, you can see Franki perform regularly in venues all over Los Angeles.
