His passion and virtuosity have led not only to his contracting by stars of the genre, but to the recording of ten solo albums and an extensive list of collaborations with national and foreign artists.
He is the lead guitarist of Jeff Scott Soto's band (Journey, Yngwie Malmsteen) in his new band SOTO, and since January 2017 he has been the guitarist of the renewed super band Avalanch. In addition, he has toured around the world presenting his project alone or accompanying other artists such as Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple, Rainbow).

He began to play the guitar at the age of 8, and his talent received his first big reward when he was 17 years old and received a scholarship from the prestigious University of Berklee (Boston), where he spent a year studying.

At 19 he released his first solo album and is currently presenting his new album "Graffire" with his blues band Jorge Salán & The Majestic Jaywalkers.

With Jeff Scott Soto has toured the US, including the cruise Monsters Of Rock Cruise (where they shared the bill with Steve Vai and Extreme, among others), Latin America with The Winery Dogs, and has played in the most important rock festivals in Europe, among which stand out: Sweden Rock, Bang your Head, Graspop, Hard Rock Hell and Rock of Ages, sharing the same stage with bands like Alice Cooper, Helloween or Slayer.

He has been guitarist of the North American singers Fiona and Robin Beck in the FireFest Festival of Notthingam, along with Gotthard, Tyketto or Danger Danger, continuing with Robin Beck in all his concerts of his European tours. (fropm Spanish)

“Graffire” is an adventure rooted in blues-rock, featuring Jorge Salán, considered to be one of the best guitarists from Spain. Jorge Salán's guitar work is fantastic and the band sounds as if they are having the time of their lives. Jorge’s tone is amazing and wears his influences with pride. Here we have three covers and six original songs ... moving the listener through the album, song by song, taking you by surprise many times, then delighting your ears with familiar (yet somehow) very fresh sounds built around the loose constructs of blues rock. If you like electric blues and the "old school" sound, you should check this recording out!

Considered to be one of the best guitarist from Spain, Jorge Salán introduces his latest project, The Majestic Jaywalkers (Juan Carlos Gibaja on bass, Edu Brenes on drums and Pau Alvarez on keyboards) and their debut release, 'Madrid/Texas'. The album features 8 smoking renditions of Blues classics. This is a complete album from top to bottom. It is a record that need to played entirely and enjoyed as such. Jorge Salán's guitar work is fantastic and the band sounds as if they are having the time of their lives. Jorge Salán's tone is amazing and wears his influenes with pride and acknowledges them, more so that he puts them into overdrive and takes these Blues classics to new heights. As Jorge Salán and The Mystic Jaywalkers certainly do on classics like, "Who's Been Talking" (Howlin' Wolf), "The Hunter" (Albert King) and smoking rendition of B.B. King's (R.I.P.), "The Thrill Is Gone". Also worth mentioning are, "So Hard To Share"(John Mayall And The Bluesbreakers) and the album closing, "The Sky Is Crying" (Elmore James). Jorge Salán' and The Majestic Jaywalkers takes the listener through the album, song by song, taking you by surprise many times, delighting your ears with familiar yet somehow very fresh sounds built around the loose constructs of blues rock. It's one of those recordings where I found myself impressed on first listen, and engrossed completely by my second spin through. It is tasteful and soulful. A great selection of tunes, as well, that expose different tasty elements of playing. If you like the electric blues and the "old school" sound from the past you should check this recording out! Jorge Salán has the ability to mix various genres and influences into his style of blues and his talent on guitar puts him over the top in my book. - Highly Recommended!!!
