The Vagabonds were one of the main jamaican bands in the early 60's.
Their repertoire would cover all the current musical trends in the
Caribbean, namely ska, blue beat, calypso, meringues, cha-cha and beat.
The Lp was recorded in two weeks during their first and succesful 1964
Uk tour, having received great appreciation after the appearance on
B.B.C.'s "Tonight" and "Time Out" programmes. This album contains the
authentic Jamaican sound played by the first Jamaican band to try for
the big time in England.

Los Vagabonds fueron una de las principales bandas jamaicanas de principios de los 60. Su repertorio abarcaba todas las tendencias musicales del momento en el Caribe, a saber, el ska, el blue beat, el calipso, los merengues, el cha-cha y el beat. El Lp se grabó en dos semanas durante su primera y exitosa gira por el Reino Unido en 1964, habiendo recibido un gran reconocimiento tras su aparición en los programas "Tonight" y "Time Out" de la B.B.C. Este álbum contiene el auténtico sonido jamaicano interpretado por la primera banda jamaicana que intentó triunfar en Inglaterra.
